NAATI expects formal Standard Gujarati. Use respectful forms (aap, tamne) in formal dialogues. Avoid English loanwords where a Gujarati equivalent exists — examiners penalise unnecessary mixing.
Critical. Medication doses, visa dates, rent amounts, and ages are scored strictly. Practise Gujarati number words: ek, be, tran, char, panch… and use them consistently in practice.
Most candidates benefit from 4–8 weeks of daily practice. Target 2–3 dialogues per day, review model answers carefully, and run at least 2 full mock tests in the week before your exam.
You need a combined score of 63 out of 90 across two dialogues (each marked out of 45). A per-dialogue minimum of 29/45 is required.
